Calvin Harris
Calvin Harris (born 17 January 1984), is a Scottish singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born and grew up in Dumfries, Scotland. His first album I Created Disco was released on 18 June 2007. The album contained up-tempo electroclash songs that were influenced by music from the 1980s. To promote 'I Created Disco', Harris embarked on a tour of the UK, supporting Faithless and Groove Armada.

In Flagranti
In Flagranti is the duo of Sasha Crnobrnja (aka Cosmic Rocker) and Alex Gloor. They both have been in and around various scenes on opposite sides of the globe between New York and Europe. What they share is the simultaneous discovery of the italian cosmic scene from the late 70's early 80's. Both were hooked after hearing some of the mixed tapes in the early 80's, which had this hypnotic blend of electro-disco-afro-rock-funk-dub.

Jacques Renault
Producer and DJ, Jacques Renault, was a post-punk Washington D.C. native who moved to Chicago in 1997 to continue his studies of viola, but in turn got an education in dance music. Tapping into the well established Drum n' Bass scene, he held a residency at Smart Bar and became a buyer at the legendary Gramaphone Records. This broad, raw exposure to House lead him straight back to the classics of Disco and to it's heart, New York City, where he landed in 2002.

Sister Sledge is an American musical group formed in 1972 and consisting of four sisters: Kim Sledge (born August 21, 1958), Debbie Sledge (born July 9, 1954), Joni Sledge (born September 13, 1957) and Kathy Sledge (born January 6, 1961). Their biggest successes Stateside came in 1979 with the popular disco anthems We Are Family (#1 R&B, #2 Pop in the USA) and He's the Greatest Dancer (#1 R&B, #9 Pop in the USA), produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards of Chic.

Teengirl Fantasy
Teengirl Fantasy is Logan and Nick, two friends at Oberlin College in Ohio. It's tough to classify Teengirl Fantasy's music within one genre - both <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Harmonia" class="bbcode_artist">Harmonia</a> and <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/+noredirect/CeCe+Peniston" class="bbcode_artist">CeCe Peniston</a> serve as equal reference points. Teengirl Fantasy's love of drone, 4/4, and warm gating synths force new classifications of electronic music. Nile Gregory Rodgers (born September 19, 1952 in New York City) is a musician, composer, arranger, guitarist and music producer, and co-founding member of the seminal multi-platinum hit R&B band Chic, with influential bassist, the late Bernard Edwards. Rodgers began his career as a session guitarist in New York, playing with the Sesame Street band in his teens, and then working in the house band at Harlem's renowned Apollo Theater, backing artists like Aretha Franklin, Ben E. King, Nancy Wilson, and Parliament Funkadelic.

1. John Paul Young, b. June 21, 1950 (Glasgow, Scotland). After relocating to Sydney in 1966, he was 'discovered' by songwriters and record producers Harry Vanda and George Young. His breakthrough came in 1978 with the worldwide dance hit "Love Is In The Air,", peaking at #2 on the Australian charts, #7 in the USA, and #5 in the UK. He gradually faded into history, until the film "Strictly Ballroom" was released in 1992, featuring a remixed version of "Love Is In The Air.

The Postures
since forming in mid 2006, the postures quickly marked out their own unique sonic territories. the line-up of michael (guitar, primary hollering, baritone guitar), michael (drums, bass), and jeremy (guitar, synth, auxillary hollering, drums) have an anything-goes approach to song writing, incorporating elements of post-rock, metal, disco, kraut-rock, doom, punk, and no-wave, with lyrical inspiration drawn from disparate subjects such as the nature of insanity, the edge of the known universe, the apocalypse, and charleton heston.
