The Australian String Quartet is Australia's leading string quartet, and presents an annual program of chamber music throughout Australia and internationally. Founded in 1985 the ASQ has received critical acclaim both at home and abroad for performances of a diverse range of repertoire, including world premieres of contemporary Australian works. Overseas tours take the quartet to North America, Europe and Asia.

Fading Hour is emerging as one of the most promising young bands to hit the Australian music scene. Their sound is dynamic, distinct and lucid, showing influences by everyone from Incubus, Tool, Dredg and Porcupine Tree to likes of Chevelle, Disturbed and The Deftones. Their music is an amalgamation of genres which can best be described as progressive melodic and heavy rock. The Melbourne four piece originally formed back in 2005, when guitarist Peter and drummer Shannon teamed up with Michael on vocals and Jono on bass.
Inside The Whale was founded in the Danish town Aarhus back in 1991. At that time most of the members had already played together in the band “It's It” for about two years.
Inside The Whale was in the finals of the “DM I Rock” (Danish Championship for rock bands) in both 1992 and 1993.
The “DM I Rock” 1993 was exceptional that year, as this final also featured two other great bands Dizzy Mizz Lizzy and Kashmir.
Stranglehold were a Punk band from Boston. They started in 1982 and broke up in 1984,in between they released one 12 inch and one 45 rpm for Taang! Records, they toured the country with The F.U.'s who they shared a practice space with and also played with the likes of the Circle Jerks, Suicidal Tendencies, Dr Know,Iron Cross, Marginal Man, 45 Grave and TSOL.. Diamond Sins are a high energy Punk-rock band from Adelaide Australia.
Formed in 2006 the band quickly had heads turning with their larger than life stage show
and loud, raw music. Drawing influences from 1970's punk and the over the top metal of the 80's.
Diamond Sins have spent the last few years tirelessly playing shows as well as supporting some
of Australia’s hardest Rocking bands such as Hell City Glamours and The Deadthings. The band
Tailor Made for a Small Room are a Tokyo-based duo who specialize in lo-fi electronica, not dissimilar in style to the likes of Lullatone and 4 Bonjour's Parties. It comes as no surprise, then, to learn that one half of TMFASR also belongs to 4 Bon, while the other half is the singer for Lost in Found, winners of Japanzine's Gaijin Sounds 2008 competition. Both members are Japanese, though much of their work is sung in English.
