Since the creation of this band it’s been about the love of stoner rock and fun. We love Kyuss, we love chilling out and we love groovin’. After a few line up changes we've gotten together what we believe to be a strong musical force. Since acquiring a new singer, we've recorded a five track EP entitled, Stay For Tea. For the fans of fat tones, pounding drums and groovin' bass this should be pleasing to the ear.
High on Fire is a stoner metal band originally formed from the remnants of the legendary stoner band Sleep. Matt Pike, from Sleep, sings and plays guitar in High on Fire and founded the band with George Rice (bass) and Des Kensel (drums). High on Fire's sound is extremely heavy, drawing influences from the aforementioned Sleep, Motörhead, and even hardcore punk. The Oakland, California band formed in 1998 and released 'The Art of Self Defense' on Man's Ruin Records, in March 2000.
Hunters & Collectors were an Australian Rock band, formed in 1981 in Melbourne, who were originally influenced by German experimentalists like Can and later leaning more towards popular rock. Taking their name from a Can song, the band was formed by Mark Seymour (guitar, vocals), John Archer (bass), Doug Falconer (drums), Geoff Crosby (keyboards), Greg Perano (percussion), Ray Tosti-Gueira (guitar), and Robert Miles (sound engineer and art director, considered a full member).
New Jersey's Chris Kosnik, Finn Ryan, and Bob Pantella first started plotting their musical careers back in the mid 90s influenced by 70s rock and progressive groups ranging from Black Sabbath to Parliament Funkadelic. Simultaneously all three members where already playing for major labels in separate bands: Godspeed (Atlantic), Monster Magnet (A&M) and Core (Atlantic). This was primarily because guitarist <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Josh+Homme" class="bbcode_artist">Josh Homme</a> often tuned to a low C, a major third below standard pitch, but also singer <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/John+Garcia" class="bbcode_artist">John Garcia</a>'s paint stripping vocals. The band was originally formed in 1989 in Palm Desert, California under the name "Sons of Kyuss". They took the name from a monster in Dungeons and Dragons.

By taking the low end guitar heavy elements of stoner rock and merging it with a keen ear for a catchy hook Don Fernando are showing that heavy music can be combined with a pop sensibility to create something unique and exciting, the music is heavy, the guitars are about as loud as you could possibly imagine and their gigs will leave you planted firmly on your arse while humming their melodies and lamenting lost love.
