N.E.R.D

N.E.R.D (No One Ever Really Dies) is a funk rock, alternative rock and alternative hip hop band formed in 2001. Their music is best described as funk rock, with various other influences, including hip hop, R&B, soul, alternative rock, and blues. Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo met in Virginia Beach, Virginia at the ages of 12 at a summer camp for musicians, which they both disliked. They spent their free time making beats and performing in groups with fellow childhood friend Timbaland. Shay Haley began performing with Williams and Hugo in high school.

Hakeem Seriki (born November 28, 1979 in Houston, Texas) is a Grammy Award nominated rapper, member of The Color Changin' Click and founder of Chamillitary Entertainment. Better known as Chamillionaire, he also uses nicknames such as The Mixtape Messiah, King Koopa, Color Changin' Lizard, Chamillinator, Chamillitary Mayne, Major Payne and The Truth From Texas. He began rapping in 1998, releasing mixtapes and a collab album with fellow Houston rapper Paul Wall. He released his debut album, The Sound of Revenge, in 2005, and his sophmore release, Ultimate Victory, in 2007.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Blueprint is a rapper and producer from Columbus, Ohio. He is the owner of Weightless Recordings and also signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment. He is also one half of the group Soul Position with producer RJD2. Over the span of several years, Blueprint has risen greatly in popularity. DJ Yoda

DJ Yoda (born Duncan Beiny) is a British hip-hop turntablist. Between 1995 and 1998 he studied English and American Literature at the University of Warwick. During this period he began performing at Mojo, a popular Warwick Hip hop and Soul night until he graduated. After he left university he began releasing underground demo mix-tapes to small music shops. Through the popularity of these tapes, Antidote Records asked him to create an official mixtape, from which 'How to Cut & Paste Mix Tape Vol.1' was released.

Akir is an African- American rapper who is known for the political message in his songs. His single "Politricks" exposes political efforts to thwart minorities political voices. Akir was featured on Immortal Technique's Revolutionary Vol. 2 & in the Source's "Unsigned Hype" in January 2005. In March 2006 he released his debut album Legacy. Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979 in Compton, California), better known by his stage name Game (formerly The Game), is an American gangsta rapper. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album, The Documentary, and his two Grammy nominations. Since then he has released two more critically acclaimed albums, 2006's Doctor's Advocate and 2008's LAX, which he claimed to be the final album he would release, but in mid-2009 he started recording The R.E.D. Album, which has been released on the 23rd of August this year(2011).

Jeru the Damaja

He spent his early years in the Brooklyn neighborhood of East New York, where he has been rapping at block parties since the early days of his youth. He first showcased his hardcore Brooklyn style to audiences on "I'm the Man," a track from Gang Starr's 1992 album Daily Operation.
