Jean Grae

Jean Grae (real name Tsidi Ibrahim, also known as What? What? & Da Easter Bunny, born November 27, 1976) is a hip hop artist from New York. Born in Cape Town, South Africa on November 26, 1976, the daughter of South African jazz musicians (her father and mother are the celebrated musicians Sathima Bea Benjamin and Abdullah Ibrahim), she studied Vocal Performance at the LaGuardia School of Music & Art before majoring in Music Business at New York University. She also did some modelling during her teen years.

Promoe

Promoe (Mårten Edh) is a Swedish emcee, and member of Swedish hip-hop group, Looptroop Rockers.
Promoe has released five albums, quite a few 12"s and also many singles with Astma&Rockwell which you can download for free on Looptrooprockers.com. Promoe's albums to date are: Government Music, Long Distance Runner, White Man's Burden, Standard Bearer and the newest one is Kråksången which is in swedish. The label is Looptroops own, David versus Goliath (DvsG) since 1998, which is distributed through Burning Heart. Soundism has given their sound treatment to most of Promoe's recent releases.

MC Yogi

MC YOGI (aka Nicholas Giacomini) grew up in Northern California, painting graffiti & listening to hip hop music. He spent most of his high school years at a group home for at-risk boys where, inspired by artists like the Beastie Boys & Run DMC, he began writing and performing his own raps for friends at house parties. Hip hop culture provided both a soundtrack and a creative outlet during MC YOGI’s turbulent teenage years.

Murs (born Nick Carter on March 16, 1978), is an underground mc from Mid-City Los Angeles. The name 'MURS' is an acronym for Making Underground Raw Shit. Even though his discography spans almost an entire decade he only had limited recognition up until three years ago when he released both the full length Def Jux release The End Of The Beginning and the more introspective Varsity Blues EP, which helped open up a lot of people's eyes to him as a solo artist.

Aesop Rock (born Ian Bavitz on June 5, 1976) is an alternative hip hop artist/producer from Northport, New York, United States. There are at least two artists with this name. 1) M.E.D. aka Medaphoar is a hip hop MC who has recorded with Madlib, Wildchild, and Oh No. M.E.D's debut album was released on Stones Throw Records in 2005. Entitled Push Comes To Shove, the album features production from Madlib, J Dilla, Oh No (Madlib's younger brother), and Just Blaze. A CD entitled "Bang Ya Head" was released during Stones Throw's 2005 Tour and features M.E.D (known as Medaphoar) guest spots from 1998 to 2005.
M.E.D. made a dis track toward Canibus called "Lightwork."

Tag Team

Tag Team was a miami bass duo of DC the Brain Supreme (Cecil Glenn) and Steve Roll'n (Steve Gibson) from Florida, USA, best known for their 1993 hit "Whoomp! (There It Is)". They released two albums, 1993's Whoomp! (There it is), and 1995's Audio Entertainment. In 2000 a Tag Team grestest hits CD was released.
