Jessie J is a pseudonym of, at least, two artists:
1. A singer songwriter from the United Kingdom
2. A rapper from the United States 1. Jessie J (born Jessica Cornish on 27 March 1988) is a singer-songwriter from Essex, England, United Kingdom. She began a solo career after working as a songwriter and backing vocalist for artists such as Miley Cyrus and Christina Aguilera. Her debut album, "Who You Are", was released in 2011 and contains the singles "Do It Like A Dude", "Price Tag", "Nobody's Perfect", "Who's Laughing Now", "Domino" and "Who You Are".

The day before his senior year as a playwright student at the University of North Carolina, Joe Pug sat down for a cup of coffee and had the clearest thought of his life: I am profoundly unhappy here. Then came the second clearest. Pug packed up his belongings and drove the longest route possible to Chicago. Working as a carpenter by day, the 23 year-old Pug spent nights playing the guitar he hadn't picked up since his teenage years.

Dougie MacLean is one of Scotland's finest singers and songwriters, with a rich, heavily-accented voice. He is a multi-instrumentalist (harp, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, didgeridoo, guitar) with a large back catalogue. His first release was in 1983 with the album "Craigie Dhu", although he had already recorded other albums, such as "Snaigow" and "Fiddle", which were not released till much later. He began his career playing with the Tannahill Weavers.

The Boy Who Trapped The Sun, funnily enough, is not his real name. Colin MacLeod - for it is he- was discovered swinging round the rafters of an Aberdeen bar, dishing out Deep Purple covers and, he says, “generally acting like an arse.” Having smashed his guitar and knocked himself unconscious on stage, he set to cleaning up both the broken instrument and his act. Thus The Boy moved to London; to become a solo artist and an adult. And so emerged a record - due out this summer - full of strange, sometimes sinister stories: equally inspired by home, Hemingway, ghosts and ex-girlfriends.
