New Young Pony Club

New Young Pony Club (NYPC) is a five-piece electro band from London consisting of Tahita Bulmer (vocals), Andy Spence (guitar), Lou Hayter (keyboards) and Sarah Jones (drums), and they provide a kind of tight and bass-heavy future discoid noise. Partly inspired by LCD Soundsystem and a chance meeting of like-minded band members intent on establishing something potent, Andy and Tahita formed NYPC in 2005. The band's bassist Igor Volk, quit the band in 2009. Ice Cream, their first single on Modular, was recently used in a television advert, commissioned by Intel for their new Duo processors.

Bright Light Bright Light

Bright Light Bright Light is Welsh songwriter, producer, remixer and multi-instrumentalist Rod Thomas who, over the last year or so has moved swiftly from bedroom producing to appearing at Glastonbury, Latitude, Camp Bestival, Green Man, Innocent Village Fete and Summer Sundae festivals. A relentless live schedule has seen him appear alongside Sparks, James Yuill, Gotye, Noah & The Whale, Casiokids and Au Revoir Simone as well as doing numerous sessions for Radio 1, BBC Wales, BBC Bristol, Channel M and Balcony TV.

Miike Snow

Miike Snow is an electropop band from Stockholm, Sweden formed in 2007, consisting of American songwriter Andrew Wyatt and Swedish producers Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg. Their eponymous debut album was released in 2009 to much critical acclaim, with the lead single 'Animal' appearing on shows such as Gossip Girl.

While you may not have recognized Karlsson and Winberg by their full names, you have surely heard their work as production duo Bloodshy & Avant.

Sunday Girl

Jade Williams Broxbourne, 1988 (22 years).
Sunday Girl is the solo project of Jade Williams who after some smothering signed to Geffen Records (Universal). The name comes from an old job she had in a Pet Shop where she worked every Sunday and was known simply as Sunday Girl. Her first single intuited as Four Floors brings arrangements Sinthy-pop merged for classical instruments, the music was co-written by the young and produced by Diplo.

Kassidy

Kassidy is Barrie-James O'Neill, Hamish Fingland,Lewis Andrew and Chris Potter. They are a straightforward approach of four guys, four guitars and winning harmonies that have swiftly won them many admirers, carving out a niche on the crowded Glasgow music scene.

With almost ten years of DJ experience behind them, Fredo & Thang step up their game. First there was the Gameplay edit of Beirut’s indie gem Nantes – cooked up as a secret weapon but soon receiving kudos from major players such as Laurent Garnier, Dixon and Tim Sweeney. Soon after, a hook up with vintage synth collector Seba, resulted in the birth of Villa. The well seasoned composer/producer resides in his cosy farmhouse, surrounded by a collection of rare musical toys – a perfect setting for this new musical venture.

He began writing 80s-inspired synth pop a decade ago and has released eight albums, from a hand-packaged cassette, a song on Atari cartridge and most recently his latest online full-length album 'Charisma'. Leading critical NZ music magazine Real Groove ranked 'Visions' the best NZ album of the year in 2007. The follow-up - 2010's 'Charisma' was released as mp3-only, free / pay-as-you-like in October 2010.

Kesha Rose Sebert (born March 1, 1987 in Los Angeles, United States), better known mononymously as Kesha (stylized as Ke$ha or K$), is an American recording artist. An active singer since before 2005, her breakthrough came in early 2009 after appearing on Flo Rida's number one single Right Round. Ke$ha later supported Calvin Harris on tour in the UK and toured with Mickey Avalon in the US. She also performed at Madison Square Garden on December 11, 2009 for the Z100 Jingle Ball. She was announced as one of the acts for the 2010 revival of Lilith Fair and presented at the 52nd Grammy Awards.

Geoffrey O'Connor

Geoffrey O'Connor, lead singer of Australian band The Crayon Fields, is currently finishing a follow up album to his debut 'Liquorice Night' (released in 2007 under the moniker 'Sly Hats'). He has been lucky enough to play with some favourites such as Little Wings (US), Calvin Johnson (US), Jens Lekman (Swe), Mt Eerie (US), Fleet Foxes (US), Kath Bloom (US), Camera Obscura (SCO) The Brunettes (NZ), Micah P. Hinson (US), New Buffalo and Dear Nora (US). GOC has also performed in America, Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Scotland, England and Germany.
