N*E*R*D is alternative rock/funk/rap group which formed in Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States in 2001. The group consists of lead singer Pharrell Williams (vocals, keys, guitar), Chad Hugo (guitar, bass) and Shay Haley (drums). The band is best known for the songs "Rock Star", "Everyone Nose" and "She Wants to Move".
Williams and Hugo are also known as the Grammy-winning production duo The Neptunes.

Boys Noize is the moniker of Alexander Ridha, a German electro-tech producer and DJ. It's also the name of Ridha's label, boysnoize records, set up in 2005.
