Mark Barrage is the moniker adopted by Melbourne-based sound maker Mark Gomes, formerly known as Barrage (for all recordings released prior to his sophomore album 'Delays', released by Mistletone Records in November 2008.
(Mark) Barrage's sound is that of obfuscated, broken electronica - blunted samples and bent, buzzing synths playing against one another between the walls of his out-pop compositions.
Following Sea is a band from Melbourne, Australia. The band formed during the winter of 2009. Its members were previously involved in musical projects The Scandal, Daysworth Fighting, and Kill Whitey. 2010 sees Following Sea releasing its debut 7" record. Recorded with Matt Bodiam (A Death In The Family) at the Arthouse studio in Melbourne, the record explores lyrical themes of desperation and disillusionment through its two tracks, 'Last Light' and 'Iron and Earth'.
Charles Baby sings songs that he believes are sent to him by supreme beings that are trapped underground. Though he also believes these beings will one day break free and wreak a fiery vengeance on this world, he is happy until then to pay homage to them in song. He has opened has career by supporting Tim Rogers, Ash Grunwald and Kate Miller Heidke. Generation Gap(1995 -1996) was the old band of Alex Band(it was his second band) and Aaron Kamin(both from The Calling) when they began playing together. The band consisted of Alex Band(15), Aaron Kamin(19), a 58 year old drummer and a 40 year old bassguitarist. The huge difference in ages obviously was the reason for the bandname.
When Alex Band and Aaron Kamin got a record deal with RCA Records, the band split up. The Demo Cd consisted of 5 tracks;
