Louis Logic started rapping at a young age but it wasn't until he attended Penn State in the mid/late 90s where he recorded his first release, "Logistics 101" which ended up being the B-side for his first 12 inch, "Planet Rock" featuring L-Fudge. Lord Finesse

Lord Finesse is a Hip Hop artist and producer, hailing from The Bronx, New York. In 1989, Finesse, and his former partner DJ Mike Smooth, signed to Wild Pitch Records, home to other popular Hip Hop artists like Gang Starr, Main Source, Chill Rob G, Percee P, and O.C.. In 1990, the duo released their debut album Funky Technician. He was hailed for his strong lyrical ability and clever punchline delivery. The Beatnuts

There are currently two groups: The Beatnuts; a hip-hop group and BeatNuts; a Japanese instrumental latin jazz-fusion group. The Beatnuts are a hip hop crew from Queens, New York City. M-Phazes is the perfect example of a diamond in the rough. Born and raised in the Gold Coast of Australia and relatively isolated from Hip-Hop culture, M-Phazes has carved a place for himself among Australia's Hip-Hop elite and is undeniably responsible for putting Gold Coast Hip-Hop on the map. His style is best described as a combination of Neo-Soul & Boom Bap with a modern twist. Drawing inspiration from producers like J Dilla, DJ Premier & Kanye West, M-Phazes has forged an original sound that is uniquely his own. Fashawn

Born in 1988 in Fresno, California, Fashawn grew up in a virtually parentless home. His father was incarcerated, while his mom was focused on feeding her drug addiction - a combination that caused a boy to become a man quicker than most. Placed in a group home by child services at the age of 12, Fashawn found solace in music, and began writing rhymes to escape the less than desirable hand he had been dealt so early in life.

Supernatural

There are three known artists/bands as 'Supernatural' : Supernatural - MC ; Supernatural - pop band; Supernatural - avant-garde noise duo; Supernatural - Christian rock band from Bogotá (Colombia). There is also a popular TV series by the name of Supernatural (created by Erik Kripke) that airs on CW. Each season has a released soundtrack, with music featured during the episodes. Supernatural (the MC) is known for his incredible freestyle skills, raised from Indiana, and lives today in NYC.

Sabac

Sabac Red is a former member of the <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/underground%20hip-hop" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">underground hip-hop</a> group <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Non+Phixion" class="bbcode_artist">Non Phixion</a>, born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. His family moved to Brooklyn, NY when he was 4 years old. Sabac began his journey into hip-hop as a b-boy and aspiring graffiti artist. At the age of 12 Sabac began exploring the art of emceeing. He would listen to the mix shows and memorize other MCs' lyrics. He would then make parodies of the song's using his own lyrics. Sabac would perform at block parties, school talent shows and anywhere there was music and a mic constantly battling other MCs and nurturing his craft.

Chali 2na

Chali 2na is an MC for the hip-hop group Jurassic 5 and was a founding member of the racially activist salsa funk band Ozomatli. With one of the most well known voices in hip-hop as well as one of the fastest flows, Chali creates rhymes using solid and constant attention to literary techniques, including internal rhymes, assonance, meter, alliterations, and more. The 'Ambassador' of Jurassic 5, Chali has close ties to rap, reggae, funk, soul, rock, and more, and frequently collaborates with a wide range of other artists.

Murs

Murs (born Nick Carter on March 16, 1978), is an underground mc from Mid-City Los Angeles. The name 'MURS' is an acronym for Making Underground Raw Shit. Even though his discography spans almost an entire decade he only had limited recognition up until three years ago when he released both the full length Def Jux release The End Of The Beginning and the more introspective Varsity Blues EP, which helped open up a lot of people's eyes to him as a solo artist.

Danny Brown

Born Daniel Sewell on March 16, 1981, Danny Brown is a hip hop artist from the Dexter-Linwood area of Detroit, Michigan.
