Lowkey (born Kareem Dennis 23 May 1986) is a Poet, Playwright, Political Activist and award winning Hip Hop Artist of mixed British and Arab descent who has received airplay on numerous major radio stations including BBC Radio 1, 95.8 Capital FM, Kiss 100, Choice FM, BBC 1Xtra and BBC Asian Network and toured internationally, performing to crowds everywhere from Glastonbury and Trafalgar Square to Germany and Amsterdam. Atmosphere

There are, at least, four artists known as Atmosphere: 1) An American alternative rap band. 2) A Polish rock band. 3) An Italian disco group. 4) A Vietnamese metal band. 1) The Minnesota underground hip-hop group was formed around 1994. At its creation, the group was called "Urban Atmosphere". Unlike many hip hop groups, Atmosphere provides its own live instrumentation, usually consisting of bass guitar and drums.

Chino XL

Chino XL (born Derek Barbosa, April 8, 1971, in The Bronx, New York but raised in East Orange, New Jersey) is a rapper well respected among hip hop enthusiasts for his battling abilities. He is notorious for his usage of self-consciously over-the-top punchlines (which usually take the form of puns or similes) and for his exaggerated egotism. He is also well known to many for a brief feud with Tupac Shakur.

William Braunstein (born 1972), better known as ILL BILL, is a political minded MC from Brooklyn, New York. He is also a producer, and the man behind Uncle Howie Records. M-Phazes is the perfect example of a diamond in the rough. Born and raised in the Gold Coast of Australia and relatively isolated from Hip-Hop culture, M-Phazes has carved a place for himself among Australia's Hip-Hop elite and is undeniably responsible for putting Gold Coast Hip-Hop on the map. His style is best described as a combination of Neo-Soul & Boom Bap with a modern twist. Drawing inspiration from producers like J Dilla, DJ Premier & Kanye West, M-Phazes has forged an original sound that is uniquely his own. Murs

Murs (born Nick Carter on March 16, 1978), is an underground mc from Mid-City Los Angeles. The name 'MURS' is an acronym for Making Underground Raw Shit. Even though his discography spans almost an entire decade he only had limited recognition up until three years ago when he released both the full length Def Jux release The End Of The Beginning and the more introspective Varsity Blues EP, which helped open up a lot of people's eyes to him as a solo artist.

Spank Rock

Spank Rock is an American hip-hop group consisting of rapper Naeem Juwan and producer Alex Epton (XXXchange). Their style is generally described as a mix of underground hip hop, party rap and electro. Spank Rock began performing in Philadelphia, where their reputation quickly increased. They later toured with Hollertronix and M.I.A.; they also toured with Beck in 2006. Their lineup currently consists of Armani XXXchange (Alex Epton), Spankrock (Naeem Juwan), Chris Rockswell (Chris Devlin), Ronnie Darko (Ronald Rubarth), and Amanda Blank (Amanda Mallory).

There are at least three artists called John Smith: 1. John Smith is an up and coming guitar player and singer from Devon. His technical adventurousness and passion as a live performer have secured him support slots with John Martyn amongst others. His debut album (2007), The Fox and the Monk was followed up by the 2009 release Map or Direction. 2. John Smith is a Canadian emcee with releases on Peanuts & Corn Records. After the first release, Blunderbus, which met with critical acclaim, came School Day 2 Garbage Day 4 (2000) with mcenroe and DJ Hunnicutt (as Park-Like Setting).

22-year-old MC Skryptcha is the latest member of the Obese Records stable writing his way to the upper echelon of Australian hip hop. Taking his first lyrical strides in 2003, Skryptcha is blessed by the gifts of a musical family; a grandfather who spent the 60’s distilling in Sydney’s jazz movement and a concert pianist grandmother who became Australia’s first entrant into New York’s prestigious Julliard school of music, his instrumentally-charged upbringing laid the foundations for a distinct vocal talent that would ultimately evolve into his debut EP, Left to Write.
