Adrian Sherwood has been around for a long time. He's the man behind the On-U Sound label, and eponymous sound system. The one that usually does the rounds at least once a year, and has done so for as long as you can remember. If you've ever been to an On-U gig you'll know it's loud, uncompromising, live dub sound, and you'd remember there's lots and lots of noise, as you recall the ringing that's left in your ears for hours after.

There are 2 bands under the name WaveRider currently active. 1)WaveRider is François Giroux from Montreal and he started releasing his music under this name on the net in 2004. Drawing from diiverse influences, but mainly from dub and electro, WaveRider's music is a blend of electronic grooves and experimental techno. WaveRider has received some radio airplay in Canada on electronic music shows, and has a following on the internet since he started.

There are 2 projects by the name Marlow 1. "Making his Storming debut with the simply superb 'The Rope', Marlow is one of the new breed of Dubstep producers making waves in the scene, but has accomplished this in a very short time. Taking influences from, amongst other things, 70's psychedelic funk band Parliament/Funkadelic, Marlow manages to combine musical elements with underground bassline sensibilities and the result is a truly fresh sound. With a slew of releases lined up for a multitude of labels, Marlow's star is definitly rising and is certainly one artist to look out for." Caspa
