Peter Van Hoesen

News update: new release on Time To Express:
http://www.t2x.eu/releases/sendai-system-policy-t2x06/ When it comes down to combining the best of many musical worlds, Peter Van Hoesen can say he's been doing it for a while now. Deeply rooted in the Brussels electronic music scene as DJ and producer since 1993, he's considered by many as a man with multiple musical talents: from straight-up dancefloor jackin' techno to advanced abstract electronica.

Artist Type:

Robert Babicz

From Cologne, Germany techno producer has recorded a number of records as Rob Acid, Acid Warrior and Department of Dance for Force Inc in the nineties, now he begins releasing under his name since 2004. He also had records released by acid and techno labels such as Important and Labworks and at some point had launched his own label too, Junkfood. His most recent output is a blend of minimal and deep tunes with a lot of care taken for the detail. His mixes feature melodic constructs set, at times, in a more experimental field of electronic sounds which is considered innovative by many.

Artist Type:

Nathan Fake

Nathan Fake is 27 years of age (born in 1983), and yes, that is his real name. He hails from that most unlikely hotbed of new musical talent, the deepest, darkest farmer country of Norfolk, UK. Two years ago Nathan, headed for the bright lights and big city of Reading(!), and since then has never looked back. Nathan exploded onto the scene last year with the mighty ‘Outhouse’ on James Holden’s Border Community label, one of the most astounding debut singles in a long time which has surely now earned classic status, still receiving regular club and radio plays one year down the line.

Mount Kimbie

Dominic Maker and Kai Campos met at university and began making music together in a home studio in Peckham. The duo have developed a truly unique sound whose experimental rhythms lend themselves to the fringes of dubstep, wonky and hip hop, but ooze with emotion and echoing ambient soundscapes that take the listener to an entirely different place. Their EP, released on Hotflush Recordings, has already been well received, with support from pioneering DJs including Mary Anne Hobbs, Scuba, Rob Booth and Ramadanman

Artist Type:

Untold

With only a handful of releases on Hessle Audio, Hotflush and his own Hemlock Recordings, London based Jack Dunning has made serious waves already. An Untold tune is highly distinguishable; all compact bass lines that punish and clean percussion that clicks and drives instinctively; finding a balance between meticulous detail, deepness, and pure dance floor sensibility that is very rare indeed. Cited by BBC Radio One’s Mary Anne Hobbs as one to watch in 2009, Untold’s output includes both new material and remixes for the likes of Milanese...

Tobias Thomas

As a member of Koln, Germany's Kompakt camp of experimental techno artists, Tobias Thomas takes on remix duties, occasionally produces, and also spins records as a DJ. In addition to his own releases on Kompakt sublabels such as NTA and Kreisel 99 (including productions as a duo with Michael Mayer), Thomas released a 2000 mix CD on Kompakt titled Für Dich. Three years later, he followed it up with Smallville, another mix for Kompakt.

Artist Type:

Guy Gerber

The man responsible for those ends of night moments on some of the most respected dance floors across the globe over the last twelve months is more than likely Guy Gerber.
As cited last summer in the UK dance floor bible; Mixmag, his universally embraced single on Bedrock Records Stoppage Time became the stand out anthem of the year at the likes of Cocoon at Amnesia, and Dc10 in Ibiza along with Secretsundaze in London.

Artist Type:

Marcel Dettmann

Resident DJ at Berghain in Berlin. Three hours ago he had caught the last train after a gig in Leipzig, heading for his set in Berlin the very same night. But Dettmann missed to get off – and suddenly has found himself stuck at dead end Hamburg main station: no trains till morning, no one to call for a ride. Promptly – and without any hesitation about the ridiculous charge – he hires a cab,
having only one thing in mind: Berlin, Berghain, the Club …

Artist Type:

Alex Kidd

Now being labelled as the biggest next generation nutter in Hard Dance, Alex Kidd is well on his way to Global Domination with his unique, dance floor destroying sets. He is one of a few UK based DJs that supports a European Hard Trance & Hard style sound. But defining his sound is a difficult topic that many have attempted & FAILED to address. An Onslaught of Audio Anarchy might be a fair attempt! But when questioned Alex says his style is predominantly European Hard Trance, with elements of Hard Dance and Hard Style & a splattering of Techno...
