Rand and Holland

Music, or art in any form, is about space. To create a setting that engages with thoughts, ideas, or musings, and unravel them in real time, is to create a masterwork. Through a landscape of calculated interpretation and embraced accidents Caravans, the second album from Sydney’s Rand and Holland, is just that. Developing out of the home recordings of Brett Thompson, Rand and Holland materialized when those offerings became the basis for 2003’s Tomorrow Will Be Like Today (Preservation).

Born in 1976, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Uroš Umek began DJing in 1993. He and his friends helped develop the dance music scene in Slovenia, and between them they were responsible for putting on the first large scale parties in Slovenia. The Vegetable Orchestra

The Vegetable Orchestra (called Das erste Wiener gemüseorchester on the first album) was founded in 1998. It consists of 11 musicians, a sound engineer and a video artist. Based in Vienna, the Vegetable Orchestra plays concerts in Europe and Asia. From time to time workshops are given - on how to manufacture an instrument or on musical topics. There are no musical boundaries for the Vegetable Orchestra.

Sven Väth

Sven Väth (born October 26, 1964 in Germany) is a DJ who has produced a large body of work since his career began in 1982. He is also one of the founders of Harthouse Records and the now-defunct Eye Q record label. Väth is also known as R U Ready and Sam Vision.
