Five-piece Dear Plastic combine trippy beats, sultry theatricality and baroque vocals with a busload of homemade synths to create a sound that is part alternative rock and part 'trip hop noir'. The Melbourne band cite diverse influences from Scott Walker to the RZA, but are most noticeably influenced by Portishead, Bjork and Radiohead. They are currently playing shows around town to showcase tracks from their debut album, set for release early 2014.
