State of Mind

There are 7 bands with the name STATE OF MIND: 1) New Zealand Drum n Bass legends! - BIO - State Of Mind is a drum and bass duo consisting of Patrick Hawkins and Stu Maxwell. One of the first UK artists to take an interest in State Of Mind was Oxford-based duo (and arguably the most prolific artists in the history of drum and bass), Total Science. While touring New Zealand in late 2004, Q Project and Spinback were introduced to the State Of Mind sound. Blown away by the strength of the music they heard, the Oxford legends instantly sought to work with the talented duo.

Jeremy Glenn & Dylan Jones are Drum & Bass producers from Wellington, New Zealand. They broke onto the international scene with Slit/Fill Me In, released on BC Presents, but had a following in New Zealand before that, having released some 12" singles on local labels and a full album (on CD) released in that same year. Since, they've had a string of releases on established DnB labels, including Virus, Project 51 & Human.

As one of the commanding producers and DJs in the Hungarian scene, Chris.SU among others has put his country on the map of drum and bass. His first international break through was the track "Astro-Sine" with the well-known techno-sample "My house is your house", in 2002 on Trace's label DSCI4. Since then, his tracks enjoy the support of drum and bass' finest, from Klute to Ed Rush, Concord Dawn, Pendulum, Ill.Skillz, BSE, Bailey, Flight, D-Bridge, Matrix, Teebee, Dieselboy and Andy C.

Simone Vallecorsa aka Aeph was introduced to Bass music when he was a teenager back in his hometown. At the age of 16, inspired by different music genres, Simone was compelled to make his own music. Now Aeph lives and works out of London and has released on a number of most cutting edge record labels.
The "Aeph" sound is a dark melodic mixture of classic composition and surrealistic synthesizers, a retro futuristic vision of music combined with ultra modern riffs, great versatility and a finesse that rivals his role models.

02. Triage is a collaborative project between Chet W. Scott of Ruhr Hunter and Scott E. Candey of Gruntsplatter that first began recording in the middle of 1997. The two were sharing an aprartment at the time that was ultimately destroyed by fire through no fault of their own. During that time about 40 minutes of material was recorded that little was done with.

Spor

Twenty six year old Jon Gooch, known as ‘Spor’, has quickly risen to the forefront edge of Drum & Bass production. Spor, from Hertfordshire in England, got his name from a combination of one of the first folders of samples he obtained, entitled 'Spore Tactics', and a favorite piece of artwork by a friend. Graffiti outlining eventually meant he would drop the 'e' to leave a more balanced arrangement.

NeonLight

NEONLIGHT fusions two upcoming German drum and bass producers: Tobias Jakubczyk and Jakob Thomser notoriously known as NIZE5IVE & PITCH ’n’ SULPHUR. The two boys imbibed music with their mother’s milk let alone their fathers who already played together in a band. The love for Drum&Bass has welded them together since the end of the 90s. Sequencers and DnB-producing lead to their first audible successes and were already tested in DJ-sets. Very good feedback has motivated NIZE5IVE & PITCH ‘n’ SULPHUR to get their music going.

Rregula

Rregula is the stage name of Ross Deschamp, a Drum and Bass DJ and producer. Based out of Perth, Western Australia, he started making Drum & Bass in 2001 after listening to the sounds of Sinthetix, Rob F, Skynet, SKC, Cause 4 Concern, and Black Sun Empire. Following his first taste of an Akai sampler to drop film samples on the intros of songs in his metal band, The Dirty Whittler, Rregula eventually found himself drawn into the world of drum and bass and formed one half of BaD RoBoT in 2003, a monster collaboration with future Technique and Viper superstar, Phetsta.

Survival

There are several artists with that name: 1.) Steve Kielty has been involved in both production and engineering since the inception of drum & bass back in 1993/94 when he kicked off his musical career as a studio engineer. Around this time he paired up with Roy McCabe under the guises of Akustic Research and Banaczech and released on the prolific Vinyl Addiction and Partisan Recordings between 1995 and 2003. Having taken a break from drum & bass to work as studio manager for London's West Row Studios, Steve re-emerged in 2005 under the alias Survival.
