Aly Amr Fathalah (Aly) and Fadi Wassef Naguib (Fila), the Egyptian duo, were both born in 1981 and have known each other since kindergarten. After falling in love with the music of Paul van Dyk, Steve Helstrip and Chicane they built their first small studio and started doing electronic music and DJ'ing from 1999. After establishing themselves in Egypt, they decided to go international. In 2002, they signed with the prominent German record label, Euphonic Records.

Tijs Michiel Verwest (born January 17, 1969 in Breda, The Netherlands) is better known by his stage name Tiësto. He started out DJing professionally at school parties, and then moved on to become a resident DJ from 1985 to 1993 at several clubs in The Netherlands. It was at a club called 'The Spock' where things really took off for Tiësto; he stopped producing hardcore/gabber tracks and started to produce his own sound from 10pm until 4am on weekends. In the mid 1990s, Tiësto started to produce trance and the rest, as they say, is history.

Aged just 33, Armin van Buuren has been named number one in the prestigious DJ Top 100 poll three times in a row, in 2007, 2008 and 2009 – voted for by over 350,000 people across the world, and an indication of his prolific output over the 10 years he’s been dj’ing and producing. Being the official World’s Most Popular DJ is just one of his many achievements, but the driving force behind his success is an overriding passion for dance music.

Zombie Nation is a German techno and electro project of the Munich based DJ and producer Florian Senfter (aka Splank!). Until 1999 Emanuel Guenther (aka Mooner) was also involved in the project. The first Zombie Nation five track EP was released in the spring of 1999 on DJ Hell's label, International DeeJay Gigolo Records. The debut release contained the unsuspecting song Kernkraft 400, which was based on part of David Whittaker's music from the 1984 Commodore 64 game Lazy Jones. A licensed re-make of that song landed in high chart-positions all over the world.
