Cut Chemist

Cut Chemist is the performing name of Lucas MacFadden, a solo turntablist. He is a former member of the funk Latin band Ozomatli, and of the underground rap group Jurassic 5. He became known through the Los Angeles-based rap group Unity Committee, and debuted on vinyl on the B-Side of Unity Committee's 1993 single, Unified Rebelution. The track, "Lesson 4: The Radio" was an ovation of Double Dee and Steinski's seminal hip-hop masterpieces, "Lessons 1-3."

Immortal Technique

Felipe Andres Coronel (born February 19, 1978), better known by the stage name Immortal Technique, is a Peruvian rapper, and an urban activist. He was born in Lima, Peru and raised in Harlem, New York. Most of his lyrics focus on controversial issues in global politics. The views expressed in his lyrics are largely a mixture of socialist commentary on issues such as class hierarchy, poverty, religion, government and institutional racism.

Onika Tanya Maraj (born December 8, 1984 in Trinidad and Tobago but now lives in New York City, New York, United States), better known by her stage name Nicki Minaj, is a Trinidadian-American, rapper and singer-songwriter signed to a joint venture between Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment and Universal Motown. After releasing several mixtapes and building substantial buzz online her debut album, Pink Friday, was released on November 22, 2010. In October 2010, Minaj became the first female rapper to have seven songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

O.B. has been rapping for about 10 years in Sydney, and has now played across Australia. He was a mumbling presence alongside DJ A.L.F. at the legandary Joined at the Bass sessions at the Cricketer's Arms, until the Rum Corps (aka the NSW Police Force) and a yuppie shut down the live music one fateful Christmas eve. Like the rugged nature of their NSW homestead, Blue Mountains’ 4-man crew Thundamentals have forged their style from the peaks and valleys of traditional funk, soul, and Latin-based music. With the ink from their signatures just drying, the latest additions to the Obese Records stable are set to ride the wave of their upcoming self-titled label debut. Having come together during their formative years, Thundamentals developed their skills from the organic and nurturing Blue Mountains hip-hop scene, finding influence and inspiration from local artists Hermitude and Down Under Beats.

Onyx

Main Group:
Onyx is a hip hop group from New York City. Originally formed in 1988 by Fredro Starr, Sonsee, the late Big DS, the group later added Sticky Fingaz, Starr's cousin, in 1991, managed by Diamond Cut Entertainment's Milton Lynch. The group was formed in 1988 and Onyx released its first 12" single, "Ah, and We Do it Like This", in 1990. The song sounded very jazz influenced, much unlike their later work.

Shabazz Palaces

Shabazz Palaces are percussionist Tendai Maraire and Ishmael Butler, formally of Digable Planets and Cherrywine. While Tendai employs ancient instruments from his homeland Zimbabwe, Ishmael provides the group’s vision and vocals. For Butler, who never stopped making music since he released his classic album by Digable Planets , ''Blowout Comb'', Shabazz palaces is his latest place to play with ideas. Those ideas have always been simultaneously global in their expansiveness and basement ceiling low in their commitment to hip-hop’s bottom line.

Tony Touch, also known as Tony Toca, is an American hip hop DJ and producer from Brooklyn's Bushwick/ Knickerbocker section who is of Puerto Rican descent. He worked with many groups and rappers as Funkdoobiest, Cocoa Brovaz and Cypress Hill. He is known for his mix tapes. On The Peacemaker 2, Rubén Blades appears, as well as rappers and reggae dee jays such as P. Diddy, Hurricane G, Dead Prez, Slick Rick, Sean Paul, and reggaetón rapper Don Chezina, who also appeared on The Piecemaker.

Eminem

Marshall Bruce Mathers III (born October 17, 1972), better known by his stage name Eminem/Slim Shady is an American rapper and record producer. Eminem learned his trade while growing up in Detroit, United States, and quickly gained popularity in 1999 with his major-label album, The Slim Shady LP, which won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. The following album, The Marshall Mathers LP, became the fastest-selling solo album in the United States history.
