The 1980’s was a historical Music decade and in September four of Britain’s best-loved music icons of the 80’s – singer and musician PAUL YOUNG, musician, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist NIK KERSHAW, pop duo GO WEST featuring lead vocalist PETER COX and rhythm guitarist and back-up vocalist RICHARD DRUMMIE and finally rock band CUTTING CREW. Together they headline 80’S MANIA.English singer and musician PAUL YOUNG, was the former frontman of the short-lived bands Kat Kool & The Kool Cats, Streetband and Q-Tips, followed by solo success that turned him into a 1980’s teen idol. He is famous for such hit singles as “Love Of The Common People”, “Wherever I Lay My Hat”, “Come Back And Stay”, “Everytime You Go Away” and “Oh Girl”. His debut album “No Parlez” turned him into a household name. His smooth yet soulful voice belonged to a genre known as “blue-eyed soul”.
