All-girl quartet Warpaint weave intricate guitar lines, hypnotic vocals and driving post-punk rhythms into gorgeous, sprawling songs that skirt the line between psychedelia and intimacy. Releasing their long-awaited and critically-acclaimed debut LP The Fool in October 2010, and touring Australia earlier this year for Laneway Festival, Warpaint were named by BBC as one of the 15 Most Promising Artists of 2011. The Fool encapsulates the otherworldly and mystical sound of Warpaint and was produced by Tom Biller (Beck, Karen O), and mixed by Andrew Weatherall (New Order, Bjork) and Adam Samuels (John Frusciante).
