Spod is an Australian indie/electro band from Sydney, Australia. The term Spod is highly versatile; it is simultaneously the pseudonym of the band's leader and the name of the band, whether he is performing solo or with other members. The term also functions as an acronym for "Scorpion Powers Of Darkness". Spod only began laying down trax as recently as the Summer of 1995. Recording during this early period was made through 4-track and Spod's output was limited to various homemade cassettes.
