Formed in 2003, Swerve emerges from a late twentieth century soundscape into the twenty-first with a clear, precise sense of musical vision and performance. With roots in the synth-pop sounds of the eighties and post-punk undertones, Swerve create a melodious electro-pop, infused with a touch of downtempo, drum & bass, and progressive trance. A four piece, Swerve is fronted by female singer Jaclyn Blankenship, whose voice and persona counter balance the electronic stylings of Jorge Espino and Elvis Sánchez and the percussive, acoustic nature of Jason McGinnis.
