Celebrating 35 years of living dead, UK gothic punk rockers, the Damned, make a triumphant return to Australia in January 2012. Lead by original members, guitarist/singer Captain Sensible and theatrical singer Dave Vanian, as well as long time members Monty Oxy Moron, Pinch and Stu West, the Damned return with one mission in mind: to wreak anarchy, chaos and destruction across the nation.Though the Sex Pistols became the most publicised of all the original London punk groups, it was the Damned who scored some of the most notable ‘firsts’ of the movement, particularly the first U.K. punk single — "New Rose" — in 1976 and the first album, Damned Damned Damned, the following year.
