Grinderman

Recently announced to play Sydney's Homebake Music & Arts Festival and Meredith Music Festival in Melbourne, Grinderman now confirm headline shows in Perth and Adelaide. The band will play at Metropolis Fremantle on Monday 5th December. Tickets go on sale Friday 2nd September. Grinderman released their critically acclaimed second album 'Grinderman 2' in September 2010. It was produced by Nick Launay together with the band's members Nick Cave, multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis, bass player Martyn Casey and drummer Jim Sclavunos. The album debuted at No. 9 on the ARIA chart, No. 38 on the US Billboard Charts and at No. 14 in the UK. The follow up to their self-titled Top 15 ARIA album debut, the Courier-Mail called it '...even more unhinged than its predecessor". The band was a ferociously notable performer on 2011's Big Day Out Festival and headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne throughout January 2011.
