Atmospheric-pop outfit KINS will be June’s SYN Approved artist. The band’s SYN Approved Gig will double-up as their debut mini-LP launch at The Worker’s Club on Friday, June 24th. Howl At The Moon and The Townhouses will be supporting.The band’s ambient-pop prowess simultaneously injects the carefree mindset of a golden afternoon, and the inside-comfort of a wet-weather day - a craft cultivated by front-man Thom Savage (formerly Oh Mercy), who spent many man-hours writing and recording at his home studio in 2010.This year KINS have performed their experimental pop melodies as a support act to ‘Parades’ and ‘Little Scout’ in April, as well as during their March residency at The Builder’s Arms. Their atmospheric-pop qualities have seen them likened to ‘Blonde Redhead’ and ‘Seagull’.The band released their first single ‘Fade bird, fade’ in November 2010.
