Nothington is a punk band formed out of the now defunct Tsunami Bomb shortly after their demise in Spring 2006 and are from San Francisco, CA. Lead singer Jay’s southern background provides a leaning towards soulful song writing mixed with influences that the band proudly wears on their road-worn hearts like Tom Waits, Leatherface, and Mike Ness. In Fall 2006, Tsunami Bomb members Gabe Lindmen and Jay Northington, began work on new demo tracks.
Off With Their Heads is a punk rock band from Minneapolis that has included members of bands such as Rivethead, Dillinger Four, Dear Landlord and Banner Pilot. Most of their releases have been splits (with bands that include Blotto, The Measure (SA), Tiltwheel and J Church), 7" singles and EP's, notably the Hospitals 12" EP in 2006. In 2007 they released the compilation All Things Move Towards Their End which collected songs from their splits as well as compilation contributions from 2003 - 2006, most of it previously only available on vinyl.
The Menzingers originally formed after the dissolution of Bob And The Sagets, a band local to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area of Pennsylvania. With the addition of Greg Barnett the band recorded a demo/self-released album "A Lesson In The Abuse Of Information Technology" in 2006. Shortly thereafter they were signed by Go-Kart Records and re-recorded the songs from "A Lesson" and re-released their album with the addition of some new tracks. At the Fest VII in Gainesville, FL they were approached by Brendan Kelly of The Lawrence Arms and subsequently signed to Red Scare Industries.
