North London based DJ/producer Alix Perez is one of the strongest young producers in the Drum and Bass scene and undoubtedly one of its most prolific up and coming DJs. Already with a number of releases on established labels such as Shogun Audio, Liquid V, Bassbin, Creative Source, Horizons, Progress, Brigand and Fokuz, there aren't many drum and bass DJs on the circuit without a Perez tune in their bag.
Whetu Kay aka Phetsta was introduced to the D & B sound during his final year of High School in 2000 after relocating from New Zealand to Perth, Australia. Tracks such as Ed Rush & Optical's "Locuste", BC's "Inside the Machine" and Konflict's releases on RenegadeHardware instantly appealed to him. The following year he started producing his own tracks and never looked back. After writing solo and DJ'ing around Perth, he joined forces with Ross Deschamp aka Rregula (former guitarist of WAMI Award winning band "The Dirty Whittler") to form Bad Robot in 2004.
Simone Vallecorsa aka Aeph was introduced to Bass music when he was a teenager back in his hometown. At the age of 16, inspired by different music genres, Simone was compelled to make his own music. Now Aeph lives and works out of London and has released on a number of most cutting edge record labels.
The "Aeph" sound is a dark melodic mixture of classic composition and surrealistic synthesizers, a retro futuristic vision of music combined with ultra modern riffs, great versatility and a finesse that rivals his role models.

Tom Mundell aka Metrik has come a long way as one of the key names to look out for in drum & bass and for someone still relatively new to the scene, has already shown his versatility with the depth and range within his productions. In 2007 he released the anthemic soulful refrain of 'Your World' on Intrinsic Recordings which captured the attention of some of the scenes biggest names from Bad Company to Pendulum and Fresh to London Elektricity.
Concord Dawn, Matt Harvey & Evan Short, are a popular drum and bass duo originally from wellington, New Zealand. They own and run Uprising Records with such popular drum and bass songs as "Don't Tell Me" in collaboration with Tiki Taane and "Get Ready" featuring rapper Scribe. They have gained popularity in their home country being the second highest selling electronic artist ever and have been popular with australia's Drum and Bass followers. Concord Dawn are with the Kog label.
Born in Germany on 7 October 1973, Dynamite (real name Dominic Smith) started his MCing career on pirate radio station, Crush FM, broadcast in south west area during the early 90s. He met Roni Size in 1994 and began MCing for the Full Cycle crew. When the Bristol collective formed live band Reprazent, Dynamite shared vocal duties with singer Onallee. Their debut album New Forms won the Mercury Music Prize in 1997. Dynamite's role was greatly enhanced for Reprazent's second album, the strongly hip-hop influenced In The Mode (2000).
As a winner of the Essential Mix of the Year 2007 on BBC's Radio 1, the name High Contrast needs no introduction, although when a young Lincoln Barrett signed on the dotted line back in 2000 he was a complete unknown. Shy FX is the pseudonym of Andre Williams (born 1977), an English drum and bass musician from London. He is best known for one of his earliest singles, 1994's "Original Nuttah", with UK Apache. Throughout his career he has worked closely with T-Power, both as "Ebony Dubsters" and "Shy-FX and T-Power"; their 2002 track "Shake Your Body" with vocalist Di was a crossover success, appearing in the Top 40 UK Singles Chart. "Shake your Body" had great success through out Europe. In 2005 he founded Digital Soundboy Recordings.
