Sugarpuss' new single "Falling Outta Love" won the 'love' category of the WAM Song Of The Year Competition earlier this year (2012) and will be following it up with a mini record early next. Hailing from Perth and Fremantle, SUGARPUSS recalls the more finely crafted moments of early prog, space-rock and mind-expanding art pop. But every influence is just that: an echo that finds its way into rich sonic explorations, propelled along by silvery guitar lines, stormy percussion, cascading synthesizer and limber bass undulations.
