Described in Beat Magazine as a band with hints of ‘proto-garage Nirvana and a late ‘70’s agitprop art school post-punk sensibility’, Premodernists will be launching their nationally distributed debut EP, Dance A Little, at Pony in their own blazing style. A raucous, high-energy band that packs a ball of noise into every track with hot, mangy guitars and yelping, petulant vocals, Premodernists bring a maelstrom of alternative, garage-inspired indie rock, mixed in with hints of surf rock and post-punk angularity.
Joining them will be the surgeon sharp britrock of The Villains Lair, The Whole Molko and their larger-than-life, grunge-powered might, and blistering electro rock emanating from the dynamic 8 Bit Love.
