Dave Lombardo (Sr.) (February 16, 1965, Havana, Cuba) is a drummer, best known as a founding member of Slayer. Lombardo's work with Slayer has been called "astonishingly innovative". Lombardo has been compared to the likes of Virgil Donati, Mike Portnoy etc.
