Agave Maize is an Australian Black Metal band from Melbourne, Victoria.
Originally called Ash Bound Apollo, the band was formed in Canberra in 2001 by AsAutumn (drums) and some like-minded collaborators. Agave Maize played around Canberra and in 2005 they approached M. (vocals) while recording their second demo in Melbourne. M. was only initially handling co-production duties, however he was invited to add some vocal tracks on the recording. Impressed by M.'s brutality and unique talent, he was recruited to join the band full time.
