Scalar Fields is a newly formed band (2011) that plays mostly alternate rock music with some synth chucked in the mix. The band started off as a bit of fun at high school where Davis and Alex would play the occasional event. Eventually, it was time to get serious. This is when good friends Nick and Will joined the band. From here the band played a series of cover shows before moving in their own direction and writing original songs. The bands main influences are The killers, Kisschasey and Taking Back Sunday and the band has been linked to the sounds of Birds of Tokyo and The Getaway Plan.
