There are at least two artists on last.fm called Simon Murphy - number 1 has a pink photo and has tracks called Changes and Acid Sky;
number 2 is from London, UK and makes mostly drone-y minimalist-ish diy music, and was in Six Inch Killaz a lifetime ago.
This Simon Murphy recorded The Ostrich, for an all-ostrich-covers album around 2001 or so, and stereogtr no1 for a a homocrime comp CD in 2002.
