Lyrical, timeless and swelling with rich, full clout that will hit you with the gentlest of nudges, Teresa Duffy-Richards crafts hauntingly bare songs filled with poetic imagery and a deeply ingrained sense of the pains of everyday life. From the plains of Deniliquin, New South Wales, she moved to the rattle and grind of Melbourne’s North in 2012, where she soaked up the musical culture with fervour. After some time playing in local bands she decided to bring her own songs to the stage and has spent the better part of 2018 playing the local gig circuit.
