ALZZY is the artistic project of Melbourne-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Alyssa Allet. Uniquely blending sounds of indie-pop, neo-soul, RnB, jazz, and folk, ALZZY transcends genre boundaries, creating a sonic identity that packs a punch.

Born in Southeast Melbourne, Australia, into a family of musicians and music lovers, Alyssa found an appreciation for music at a young age, and soon began vocal training at the Jaanz International Singing Academy, where she, for 15 years, learnt the fundamentals of vocal technique and emotion-centred singing.

Throughout the years, she further advanced her musical abilities through learning guitar and writing songs which sparked her love for the creative intricacies of music.

In 2017, ALZZY released her debut EP, ‘Find My Way’, which centres around the thoughts and life experiences of her 15-year-old-self and features songs written with Fatai and MSquared Productions.

Since the EP, ALZZY has dedicated her time to developing a live performance presence across Melbourne’s live music scene. From appearances at The Night Cat, The Toff, Chapel Off Chapel, Hotel Esplanade, and The Workers Club, to festivals including St Kilda, Frankston, and Forest Edge, ALZZY has captivated crowds with her unique covers & compelling original music.

Parallel to performing, Alyssa is currently working as a songwriter in numerous capacities.

She been signed with Universal Music Publishing Group and Left Hand Publishing as a songwriter/topliner for 3 years, and has recently written for the Women of Soul Collective.
