Sydney born Melissa Robertson is a country/folk singer and songwriter who began singing solo at the age of 16 representing her school in regional concerts and musicals. In the late 1980’s Melissa joined a covers band and began formal singing studies. After relocating to rural NSW Melissa's passion for country and folk music grew as she began to write songs about her life experiences Melissa continued her singing studies learning Arias and won two second places in both the Penrith and Cowra Eisteddfods in 1986, 1990 and 1992.
