Oh dear, you must be thinking. Not another acoustic singer-songwriter with wry emotions and sensitive new-age lyrics? Fear not. Even though it might not be the heavier, rock-oriented style of music he’s used to playing, Nothing Rhymes With David (aka nineteen-year-old David James Young) hopes he’s able to break the mould at least a little with his music. And with splashes of everything from pop, rock, folk, punk and experimental music, surely the kid’s in with a chance.
