“How can radical music help us manifest new possibilities for thinking?”
- Liquid Archecture
Narrm-based collective Liquid Architecture connect with work from the dissonant and tranquil borders of folk, noise, electronics and improvisation. They do it as an open call to those who’re energised by transformative potential of music—the way its cooperative liquidity can energise new models for civil society.
For all-night takeover of Max Watt’s, they’ve invited Iran-based sound artist Sote to collaborate with Dutch audio-visual composer Tarik Barri on an immersive AV work. They’ll be joined by the king of moody dembow from the Dominican Republic, Kelman Duran, and West Papuan producer Asep Nayak, whose been redefining the wisisi music of his home region—creating a rapid and relentless, euphoric sound.
It’ll be a big night of communal exploration, letting go and having fun. Join in and reach out.
