JAHRUKUS are bringing their skankin, try-jah-love when they take the stage on Thursday 22 December for REGGAE CHRISTMAS at MEMO Music Hall with legend reggae DJ Stick Mareebo, Crown Heights and lots more special guests.
JAHRUKUS are a soulful roots reggae collective who pay homage to their early influences of Bob Marley & The Wailers, Jimmy Cliff, Third World and Toots & The Maytals, whilst forging their own musical identity.
Active on the Melbourne club scene circa 2005-08, the five-piece ensemble won local and international acclaim in response to their exciting live shows.
After the passing of founding member, guitarist-vocalist and spiritual leader, DION “BLX” Hirini, the boys made a pledge to return in 2022 to pay tribute to their dearly departed brother.
This will be the good vibes Christmas party of the year and everything will be irie as you cheers the year that was! Make sure not to miss it.
