Melbourne 'Femmericana' outfit Madeline Leman & The Desert Swells launch their new single 'This is Living' at The Curtin May 27. This fresh track shows off a different side of the band, highlighting a 60s dream pop influence and Motown inspired groove. 'This is Living' simultaneously laments the cruelty of modern life and celebrates its simple pleasures, posing us the question - can one exist without the other? In their first headline show for over a year, The Desert Swells will sport a fresh lineup including Ruby Jones on backing vocals and Ben McAtamney (Masco Sound System) on drums.
