Day Of The Dead

Day of the Dead is a hardcore band from Portugal. Day Of The Dead was formed in May 2001, as a weapon to express our personal feelings and beliefs. DOTD's main purpose is to fight against all the apathy that is poisoning today's punk/hardcore scene. Sharing different seeds of discontentment about several issues related to the realities of our lives, DOTD tries to instigate reflection and discussion.

Antagonist A.D.

Antagonist is back with a new album and new name: Antagonist A.D. ElevenfiftySeven is proud to be releasing the new full length album We Are The Dead on the 6th of October in both New Zealand and Australia via Melbourne label Trial & Error. Antagonist A.D formed in late 2004 but after trading members & gaining direction a new redux saw the light in 2005. 2005 was a dark year for New Zealand hardcore with prominent bands breaking up, crucial venues being lost & key promoters bowing out. Ambitions

Ambitions began in 2005 as a way for Jay and Jeff Aust and John Ross to challenge the boundaries that separate hardcore and punk. Taking a range of diverse influences, not the least of which include Quicksand, Turning Point, Face To Face, and Avail, Ambitions released a demo and began to play shows all along the east coast. In September of 2006, Ambitions released their EP "Question" on Think Fast! which garnered rave reviews and caught the attention of Bridge Nine. They went on to release their debut LP Stranger on November 6, 2007.

50 Lions

Now a staple in Australian hardcore, 50 Lions first bared their claws in 2005 at the height of the metalcore craze in their native Byron Bay. Focussing on producing a more traditional hardcore sound, the key to the survival of the band would be some serious van hours. Building on a sturdy reputation as a fierce live presence, they earned their place on bills with Byron counterparts Parkway Drive and other notable Australian bands such as Carpathian, Miles Away and Her Nightmare, before stepping up to share stages with internationals such as Terror, Madball, Down To Nothing and Blacklisted.

There are more than one artist with the name Carry Nation. 1) "Brisbane has given birth to a soulful and fresh talent, who titles herself "Carry Nation". Nation offers her audience a piece of her mind, and for thirty or so minutes the room is transformed. Although she has only been apart of the scene for 9 months Nation has played all the main stages of the valley district, and scored a record deal with indie label "Television Records". Mindset was formed in 1994 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA. Early influences included Helmet, King's X and Rage Against The Machine among many others. The bands sound was a striped down mix of tight rhythms, low tuned guitars, grinding bass and aggressive yet melodic vocals.

Stick to Your Guns is a 5 piece hardcore band from Orange County, California.
