In a time when everyone who isn't Laidback Luke is claiming to be a "disco act", there is an insurmountable wash of pretenders. Australian trio The Swiss, however, are a legit live disco band who's existence is based entirely on flavour and good times rather than the Cobra Snake and fitted caps. A pulsating solo effort from electronic pop crooning man-child and Cut Copy bassist Ben Browning is the shiniest, newest addition to the Cutters stable of artists. Prior to starting on Cut Copy's most recent album Zonoscope, Ben Browning dug into his trusty mind-hole and began penning tracks for a solo release. "I Can't Stay" is the lead single, taken from Browning's forthcoming EP on Cutters records.
Hercules and Love Affair is a musical project from New York formed in 2007 by DJ Andy Butler. From 2007 through 2010, members included Nomi Ruiz, Kim Ann Foxman and guest singer Antony Hegarty from the band Antony and the Johnsons. They are signed to DFA Records. Their single "Blind" was released on March 3rd, 2008, and their debut self-titled album (produced by Butler and Tim Goldsworthy) was released on March 10th, 2008. The album has been critically well-received and charted in the top 40 in several countries.
Holy Ghost! is a DJ duo from Brooklyn, NY, formed by Alex Frankel and Nick Millhiser of the now-defunct group Automato. They are currently signed to DFA and have released a 12" single. They also recently received some great promotion when their track Hold On was selected as iTunes Store Free Single of the Week in December 2007. During 2008 the boys have remixed Moby's I Love To Move In Here (Holy Ghost! Remix Edit), MGMT's Of Moons, Birds & Monsters (Holy Ghost remix) and Cut Copy's Hearts on Fire, amongst others, to great success.

Calvin Harris (born 17 January 1984), is a Scottish singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born and grew up in Dumfries, Scotland. His first album I Created Disco was released on 18 June 2007. The album contained up-tempo electroclash songs that were influenced by music from the 1980s. To promote 'I Created Disco', Harris embarked on a tour of the UK, supporting Faithless and Groove Armada.

Nile Gregory Rodgers (born September 19, 1952 in New York City) is a musician, composer, arranger, guitarist and music producer, and co-founding member of the seminal multi-platinum hit R&B band Chic, with influential bassist, the late Bernard Edwards. Rodgers began his career as a session guitarist in New York, playing with the Sesame Street band in his teens, and then working in the house band at Harlem's renowned Apollo Theater, backing artists like Aretha Franklin, Ben E. King, Nancy Wilson, and Parliament Funkadelic.
