Husky - 'I'm Not Coming Back' single release

Fans of Husky can rejoice in the news of a capital city headline tour for July and a new single, due for release on June 30. The tour, which will see the Melbourne band gracing stages at intimate venues in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Fremantle, Sydney and Brisbane, is Husky’s first since 2012. The shows will see Husky Gawenda, Gideon Preiss and Evan Tweedie joined on-stage by drummer Arron Light, playing songs from their much loved debut Forever So as well as brand new material. One such song is ‘I’m Not Coming Back’. Written by Gawenda in a small makeshift studio at the back of his house, located directly beneath a flight path, it came to be one evening when the stars overhead were particularly illuminating and the airplanes gliding past seemed to be twinkling in their reflected light.
