Interpol

At least two bands share their name with the International Criminal Police Organisation, in short Interpol. 1. Interpol is an indie rock band based in New York City, United States, that took an important part in the post-punk revival of the 2000s. The band consists of Paul Banks (vocals and guitar), Sam Fogarino (drums), and Daniel Kessler (guitar and backing vocals). Interpol's sound is characterized by a mix of bass throb and choppy, sparse guitar.

Infectious Grooves

Infectious Grooves (n., in-fek-shus groovz) are a funk metal band led by Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir. It also featured ex-Suicidal Tendencies, now Metallica, bassist Robert Trujillo, and ex-Jane's Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins. Though Muir's sense of humor was often obvious with Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves often brought out a goofier type of humor: their albums contain comedy skits by a reptilian lover named Sarsippius. The Get Up Kids

The Get Up Kids are a Kansas City-based American rock band. Formed in 1995, the band was a major player in the mid-90's emo scene, otherwise known as the "second wave" of emo music. Not many people know this, but a friend of mine was in japan last year, possibly the year before, anyway, they were over there over valentines day and they were feeling very lonely and didn’t know who to write a valentines day card to, so they chose Grizzly, the character of Super Crunchy Fun Grizzly, who was the character of a Japanese cereal. Anyway he got a letter back the very next day, signed Sincerely, Grizzly.

Regular John guitarist Brock Tengstrom remembers one family gathering where he was primed to meet his cousin’s boyfriend: “He’s in a band,” Tengstrom’s folks told him. Turns out the weird skinny guy with big sunglasses and black fingernails was Grinspoon frontman Phil Jamieson, pre-Guide to Better Living. “He gave me a copy of that Green EP,” recalls Tengstrom, “and I taught him how to play a few Nirvana songs.”

Linkin Park

Linkin Park is a band from Agoura Hills, California. The band consists of Joe "Mr. Hahn" Hahn, Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell (a.k.a. Phoenix), Chester Bennington, Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon. Released under the band name "Hybrid Theory", the band's first album, Hybrid Theory EP was released in 1995. Only 1000 copies of this very rare original EP were made.
