After moving to London in 2003, the band met with some critical success after notably appearing on the compilation "Bring Your Own Poison: The Rhythm Factory Sessions" and their following single, "I Know, You Know."

British Sea Power are a four-man indie rock band based in Brighton, England, although three of the band hail originally from Kendal in Cumbria. Their style encompasses sweeping and often epic guitar pop with more visceral, angular and esoteric noises and instruments. Critics have likened their sound to a variety of groups, from The Cure to Pixies. They have released four albums and a number of EPs (most on Rough Trade) since they formed in 2000. There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Annie Clark (born 28 September, 1982) is an American multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter who performs under the moniker St. Vincent. She was a member of The Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens' touring band. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she began playing the guitar at the age of 12 and as a teenager worked as the tour manager for her uncle's band Tuck & Patti. She grew up in Dallas and attended Lake Highlands High School, graduating in 2001. Following this, she went on to attend Berklee College of Music, dropping out 3 years later.

Calling All Cars are a rock band from Melbourne, Victoria that formed in 2005. There have been scientific studies done and we know for a fact nobody wants to read band bios that are full of shit, so we are going to give it to you straight. We are currently holed up at 'Studios in the City' in Melbourne with producer Tom Larkin putting the final touches on our debut album 'Hold Hold Fire' (Due out 12th of March 2010).

Jape is the alter-ego of Redneck Manifesto member Richie Egan. Hailing from Crumlin, Dublin 12, he purveys an electronica-heavy music tinged with 'stoner folk'. Jape's most renowned song 'Floating' has been covered by The Raconteurs and The Mighty Stef, to name a few. His debut album 'Cosmosphere' was released in 2003 (Volta Records), followed by 2004's 'The Monkeys In The Zoo Have More Fun Than Me' (Trust Me I'm A Thief).

Antony and the Johnsons

Antony and the Johnsons are a Mercury Prize-winning music act from New York City, New York, United States. During the mid 90s Antony started solo; after originally producing songs with the Blacklips and other late-night cabarets he had a number of songs to work with. In 1995 he assembled a backing group, the self-styled Antony and the Johnsons, and began to focus on the musical side of her performances.
