Ted Egan is an Australian folk singer/songwriter who grew up and lived most of his life in the northern parts of Australia. His songs are many, and tell stories about people and times in Australian history, sometimes serious, sometimes quite funny. Fleet Foxes is an indie folk band which formed in Seattle, Washington, United States in 2006. The band consists of Robin Pecknold (vocals, guitar), Skyler Skjelset (guitar), Christian Wargo (bass, guitar, vocals), Casey Wescott (keyboards, vocals), Morgan Henderson (multiple instruments) and J. Tillman (drums, vocals). They are signed to the labels Sub Pop and Bella Union. Fleet Foxes released the six-track Fleet Foxes EP in 2006, a five-track EP, Sun Giant on April 8, 2008, and their debut full-length self-titled album, Fleet Foxes on June 3, 2008.
Sufjan Stevens (pronounced "SOOF-yahn"; born July 1, 1975) is an American musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Petoskey, Michigan. He is known for his lyrically focused and instrumentally rich songs that often relate to faith and family. He has enjoyed wide critical success in the United States. He is considered part of the folk revival through indie pop, but his influences are very broad, including experimental electronic music, the jazz of Vince Guaraldi, and the academic minimalism of Steve Reich and Philip Glass.
There are two artists with this name: James Walker is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist musician based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Walker has numerous band appearances to his credit. His current solo project is also his first. James Walker (other names include "Jay-Jay", "Strawberry Blonde Gangster" and "Go away") is also an upcoming and promising solo artist who's track record includes allegedly playing keyboard with led zeppelin and the white stripes. This has never been proved as his image cannot be captured on camera and his existence is still only myth.

Delicate rivers of finger-picked guitar flow through the record, while Mick sings in gorgeous poetic shivers about epic love and distant shores.

Buffy Sainte-Marie (born 20 February 1941) is an Academy Award-winning Canadian First Nations musician, composer, visual artist, educator and social activist. She was born on the Piapot Cree reserve in the Qu'Appelle valley, Saskatchewan. She was later adopted and grew up in Maine and Massachusetts. She went on to earn a Ph.D. in Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts and also holds degrees in both Oriental Philosophy and teaching.
